Not sure why anyone would want to steal a Lada but if you do, here is how. All you need is a coat hanger to open the door and a pair of scissors to short out the starter.

Does it have a column lock? If so, all that doesn't do any good if you can't turn...

My Niva is immune to this. You’d need power to the ECU for the injection and the spark timing to happen. Also the steering column locks.
Of course, a sturdy screwdriver in the ignition cylinder would solve both of those issue, and also negate the need to stick your hand into gap between the exhaust manifold, down pipe, and engine block to short the solenoid...
